The most difficult thing about searching in the hidden layers of an artist’s artwork is to find a clue that allows us to find the complexity of this artistic creation. The artworks of this young Iranian artist are not far from this matter.
Viewing her artworks, I felt I stepped into another world. The sense that become invigorated by seeing some images in the artworks with religious and heavenly content.
Paying attention to this quote “We are human beings who are spiritually entangled in the animal body” will convince us that it is strange and unusual for an artwork to be able to arise a spiritual and ethereal feeling in us.
In her artworks, the artist focuses on spaces that are often out of the reach of our attention, the space in which bridges, highways, and even the city corridors are alive. Not only does she capture the city energy in her pictures, but this energy is felt at the center of all the scenes. In these artworks, the combination of sharp colors with a wide space opens way for a lot of interpretations for the viewer and turns into an irony of history.
Using a wide range of warm and spicy colors and variety of texture, Narges creates delicate artworks of light and shadow. In her works, although all elements of urban space, from the subtlety of the cloudy sky to the precise details of the city buildings, have been shown, behind all the colors and shadows, the pulse of the inner world of the artist is beating and the artist herself reflects in many of her art creations.
These paintings express the essence of the very fact that face us with the challenges so that our feelings can overcome bestial dimension of our existence.
All spontaneous (Impromptu) and irregular subjects are shown in complete harmony with characters and colors that are illustrated on canvas by the forms, abstract images, geometry, and using pure and soulful colors. Undoubtedly, in these artworks, we are facing a mystical and mysterious presence in a place where every universal and natural thing will occur.
