British-Iranian architect, researcher and educator Omid Kamvari will be at Asia House on Wednesday 18 November to discuss the role of architecture in the 21st century Middle Eastern city.
Omid will explore how we need to critically look at the way in which we imagine and plan the cities of the future.
As part of the Architecture Asia series, Omid Kamvari, has co-curated a multi-disciplinary exhibition exploring novel approaches to occupying and utilising cities as well as the unused and unrealised potential within them, bringing together works from a range of architects based in the Middle-East and the UK. The exhibition will be open to the public with free admission, with a closing evening reception straight after the talk by Omid Kamvari on Wednesday 18 November.

Asia House presents a new series of talks, exploring the impact various architects from around the world have had on architectural innovation either through working in Asia, or being inspired by their connection to Asia, and how this informs their work internationally.
