اوری‌دی ایرانEverydayIran ، پروژه‌ای الهام‌گرفته از پروژه‌ی اِوریدی افریکا Everyday Africa، بزرگترین پروژه‌ی عکاسیِ ایرانی در شبکه‌های اجتماعی است که از اوایل ۱۳۹۳ آغاز به کار کرده است.
اِوریدی ایران از تمام عکاسانی که در ایران کار و زندگی می‌کنند، می‌خواهد که عکس‌های‌شان را از زندگی روزمره‌ی مردم با هشتگ اِوریدی ایران ارسال کنند. برگزیدن عکس‌های این صفحه بر عهده‌ی پنج عکاس ایرانی علی کاوه، محمد تاجیک، حسین فاطمی، علی تاجیک و عباس حاجی‌محمدی است. خاطره کُردکریمی ادیتور پروژه است. عکس‌های گزیده روزانه در صفحات مربوط به پروژه بازنشر می‌شوند.
اِوریدی ایران امیدوار است با نمایش عکس‌های موبایلی از زندگی در ایران با نگاه کلیشه‌ایِ فراگیر رسانه‌های جریانِ غالب درباره‌ی منطقه مبارزه کند. عکس‌های اِوریدی ایران نشانگر سبک زندگی، فرهنگ، مکان‌های گردشگری، تاریخی و مذهبی ایران هستند. این عکس‌ها در مجموع واقعیات کشور ایران را بازتاب می‌دهند. این پروژه علی‌رغم جوان بودن، بدل به حرکتی ملی با بیش از ۲۵۰۰۰ عکاس از ۱۰۰۰ شهر و ۳۰ استان شده که ماهانه ۲ میلیون بازدید از سراسر جهان دارد.
۷۹ درصد بینندگانِ اوری‌دی ایران را بینندگان خارجی تشکیل می‌دهند که این پروژه را تبدیل به پربازدیدترین پروژه‌ی ایرانیِ شبکه‌های مجازی در دنیا کرده است. تا به حال مجلات و روزنامه‌های معتبر زیادی همچون تایم، گاردین، وایرد، اسکوئر، پی‌دی‌ان، پاریس ماچ، دیلی‌میل، واشنگتن پست و… عکس‌های اِوریدی ایران را منتشر کرده و در رابطه با این پروژه نوشته‌اند.
برای اولین بار در سال ٢٠١۴ و با حمایت اینستاگرام نمایشگاهی گروهی از عکس‌های «اوری‌دی ایران» به همراه پروژه‌های دیگری از «اِوریدی» در فستیوال فوتوویل در بروکلینِ نیویورک برگزار شد. همچنین «نینا برمان»، عکاس سرشناس آمریکایی و از موسسان آژانس عکس نور، با دعوت اِوریدی ایران به دانشگاه کلمبیا در نیویورک میزبان بحث و گفتگویی میان نماینده‌ی این پروژه با دانشجویان این دانشگاه بود.
اِوریدی ایران در سال ۲۰۱۶ نامزد دریافت جایزه‌ی بابز شد. جایزه بابز هر ساله به بهترین رسانه در حوزه‌ی کنشگریِ آنلاین در دنیا اهدا می‌شود.

This exhibition will open on Friday 27th of May 2016 along with the launch of the book ‘Your Reality is Merely an illusion” published by Cheshmeh Publications. In this exhibition a selection of photographs from the book is presented to the public. Roomin Mohtasham is one of the first photography graduates from Tehran University. Throughout his career as a photographer, he has participated in over seventy domestic and international exhibitions and has been awarded with numerous prizes and awards worldwide.
As part of the text written for this exhibition, Mehdi Vosoughnia writes:
‘The world of Roomin Mohtasham’s photographs as one of our country’s most prominent photographers, is derived from the visual insight he has in photography that tries to portray (in a photograph) what has lived. In this black and white realm, more than anything, he explores to narrate spectacles in which he has lived with for years. Spectacles that sometimes, by the passage of time and through environmental changes have transformed into bitter and critical delineations. The result of his direct interactions with these sceneries that contain in themselves an important part of the photographer’s visual experience, is to reach a form of expression within the realm of photography.
His images, a cold, centripetal and straight observation of wide horizons, empty of people that are generally captured with high-resolution wide-angle lens of his camera. This sort of observation more than anything explores the feeling and mood of the photographer and his habitat.
Thus, beside the poetic and philosophical perceptions one can have of ‘Your Reality is Merely and Illusion’ series, these photographs in a way project the lack of life in the geographical mind of the photographer. Stationary cars, lonely and quiet objects, cracked earth and trees covered with concrete columns, all make up the elements in some of his photographs. Elements that are left abandoned in gray and quiet landscapes that speak of the synchronic mystery of life and death.
People are non-existent in the collection of these photographs, maybe just like the photographer himself they too are standing and looking through the lens behind the camera.
