Density, 6th ME exhibition
sixth Me exhibition in chahar art gallery
“Density” is the title of 6th “Me” exhibition, which is curated by Javid Ramezani. The exhibition will be held on 6th of October at “Chahar art gallery”in Tehran.
This exhibition series began 6 years ago and have continued till now.
In this year’s edition,16 artists have participated, and tried to discover the density inside themselves.
The art works are came from this self discovery and research process.
The works are created in different medias from photography to installation art, painting, drawing and etc.
The artists of this exhibition are:
Sahar Eftekharzadeh, Sara Hosseini, Amir Koushamanesh, Sara Baftizadeh, Mani Kumar, Zeinab Saghafi, Ali Yahyaei, ALi Nourpour, Maryam Safarzadeh, Niloufar Taghipour, Mahdi Nematic, Hamed Noraei, Dina Saniee, Haniyeh Darbandi, Masoud Jazani, Mohaddedeh Shadmehr.
Javier Ramezani explained the consept of Density in his statement:
” Our world consists of photons, electrons and atom’s nucleus. Photons are the densest particles in the universe. This effect of their mass causes a zero time pass on photons. As the mind speed increases, the density also increases and human emotions will be blocked. Battles, angers and archetypic behaviors are entirely collapsing and exploding. Time is replaced by mass.
Photons gain momentum from time pass. The time dilation pulls the photons toward moving environments, and the universe gain its power from this logic. When the speed of a society increases by the power of the human mind, simultaneously their mass increases and friction develops. The collapse of living standards, and the tensions and conflicts are the results of this process.
The logic of this exhibition is to examine these interactions in the field of art and with the tools of art.”
This exhibition will remain open untill October 16th.
