Aaran Gallery And Nader & Nader LLC, are pleased to announce acquisition of Siamak Filizadeh’s “Rostam Returns After 30 Years”, from the “Rostam II- The Return” series by Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York for their permanent collection.
The series was first exhibited at Aaran Gallery Tehran in 2008, and since then the series has been exhibited in various venues, notably at Chelsea Museum in New York, in 2009, as part of exhibition “Iran Inside Out”, and at Los Angeles County Museum (LACMA), which has purchased the series for their permanent collection, exhibited the work with participation of the artist.
Many images of the series have since been published in different magazines and books, including: Art Press Magazine. Paris. June/July issue 2010.
